Biomechanics, Gait Analysis & Orthotics

Biomechanics and gait analysis is the study of walking with the purpose of assessing the body’s movement and efficiency. Finding dysfunctions in walking mechanics can greatly help in the analysis and treatment of pain in ankles, knees, hips and the back.

Using the latest pressure plate technology along with sophisticated video analysis and observations we are able to assess your gait and general movement.

Faulty foot mechanics can be addressed via bespoke PHITS orthotics (FDA approved) which can be used within footwear to help redistribute excessive pressures from painful muscles and joints. The orthotics are custom 3D printed and can be made specifically for everyday footwear, cycling shoes or ski boots.
